In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 (NIV)

When I read this verse, I am reminded of the importance of living out my faith in a way that others can see. It’s not about seeking attention or praise for myself, but rather, it’s about reflecting God’s love and goodness in everything I do. I realize that the way I act, speak, and serve can be a testimony to others. This verse challenges me to be mindful of how I represent Christ in my daily life.

Sometimes, it’s easy to go through the motions, but this verse calls me to be intentional. Whether it’s a simple act of kindness or standing up for what is right, I know that these actions can point others to God. I see this as a reminder that my life is not just my own—it’s a vessel through which God can work. I’m encouraged to let my light shine, not for my own glory, but so that others might see a glimpse of God’s love and be drawn to Him.
