I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
— John 15:5 (ESV)

Reflection:
In John 15:5, Jesus reminds us that He is the source of life and strength. We are called to abide in Him, and as we do, we will bear fruit. However, apart from Christ, we can accomplish nothing of eternal value. Abiding in Christ means staying connected to Him through prayer, reading His Word, and living in obedience.

When we remain in Him, our lives become fruitful, reflecting His character and love to those around us.

Application:
Consider how connected you are to Christ in your daily life. What steps can you take to abide more deeply in Him?

Prayer:
Lord, help me to abide in You daily. Keep me connected to You so that my life may bear fruit for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge:
Set aside time today to focus on abiding in Christ—whether through prayer, Bible reading, or simply being still in His presence.
