A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
— John 13:34 (ESV)
Reflection:
Jesus calls us to love one another as He has loved us. This love is sacrificial, unconditional, and reflects His heart. John 13:34 challenges us to examine how we love others. Do we love with Christ’s selflessness and compassion? Our love for one another is a testimony of Christ’s love to the world.
Loving others isn’t always easy, but when we love as Christ loved, we reflect His character and bring glory to Him.
Application:
Think about someone in your life who needs to experience Christ’s love through you. How can you demonstrate that love today?
Prayer:
Lord, help me to love others as You have loved me—selflessly and unconditionally. Let my life be a reflection of Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge:
Show love to someone today in a tangible way, demonstrating Christ’s compassion and care.
