Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

This verse has been a cornerstone for me when anxiety starts to take over. It’s a powerful reminder that God doesn’t want us to carry our burdens alone. Psalm 61:2

“From the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

In times when I feel like I’m at the end of my rope, this verse is a cry for help that resonates deeply with me. It’s a plea to be led to something greater—something more stable than the shifting sands of my circumstances. For me, that “rock” is God Himself, the unchanging foundation on which I can always depend.

Isaiah 40:31

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

This verse speaks to the renewal of strength that God promises to those who put their hope in Him. When I’m exhausted—physically, emotionally, or spiritually—I find comfort in the idea that God will renew my strength. It’s a beautiful reminder that my energy isn’t limitless, but God’s strength is.

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

These words from Jesus have been a lifeline for me in moments of deep weariness. Jesus doesn’t just offer us rest—He offers to share our burdens, to walk with us, and to teach us a way of living that brings true peace. Whenever I feel like I’m carrying too much, this invitation from Jesus to come to Him for rest is exactly what I need to hear.

2 Corinthians 12:9

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

I find this verse incredibly humbling and comforting. It reminds me that I don’t have to be strong all the time—God’s grace is enough. In fact, it’s often in my weakest moments that God’s power is most evident. This verse encourages me to embrace my limitations, knowing that God’s strength will carry me through.

Psalm 94:19

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”

Anxiety is something I’ve struggled with at various points in my life, and this verse speaks directly to that experience. It’s a beautiful reminder that God’s comfort isn’t just about easing our fears—it’s about bringing us joy even in the midst of those fears. Knowing that God is with me, consoling me, gives me a deep sense of peace.

1 Peter 5:7

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
