In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
— Matthew 5:16 (ESV)

Reflection:
Jesus calls us to be the light of the world, reflecting His love and truth to those around us. Matthew 5:16 encourages us to let our light shine through our actions so that others may see God’s goodness and be drawn to Him. Our good works are not about earning approval but about pointing people to Christ through how we live.

When we serve, love, and live in a way that reflects Jesus, we shine His light in the world.

Application:
Think of a way you can let your light shine today. How can your actions point others to Christ?

Prayer:
Lord, help me to shine Your light through my actions today. Let everything I do reflect Your love and truth to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge:
Find a way to serve or encourage someone today, letting your light shine in a way that glorifies God.
