God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
— Psalm 46:1 (ESV)

Reflection:
God is our refuge and strength in the midst of life’s storms. Psalm 46:1 reminds us that we can run to Him when we face difficulties and challenges. He is not distant or removed from our troubles; He is present, providing strength and comfort. No matter what storms we face, we can be confident that God is with us, offering the strength we need to endure.

When life feels overwhelming, God’s presence is a refuge that brings peace and security.

Application:
Are you going through a storm right now? Take comfort in knowing that God is your refuge and strength, and seek His presence for help.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my refuge and strength. When I face challenges, help me to run to You and rely on Your strength to carry me through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge:
Spend time today in prayer, asking God to strengthen you for any challenges you are facing.
