Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
— 1 John 4:7 (ESV)

Reflection: Love is the defining characteristic of those who belong to God. In 1 John 4:7, we are reminded that love originates from God, and when we love others, we reflect His nature. This love is not merely an emotion but a commitment to seek the well-being of others, just as Christ has loved us. True Christian love is selfless, sacrificial, and transformative, making a profound impact on those around us.

Application: Today, look for opportunities to express God’s love to those around you. It might be through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply being present for someone in need. Let your actions reflect the love of Christ, showing others what it means to belong to Him.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for loving me unconditionally. Help me to love others with the same love You have shown me. Teach me to be patient, kind, and selfless in my relationships, reflecting Your love to the world around me. May my love for others draw them closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge: Reach out to someone you know who needs to feel loved today. It could be a friend, family member, or even a stranger. Show them the love of Christ through your actions.
