The joy of the Lord is your strength.
— Nehemiah 8:10 (ESV)

Reflection:
Joy is a gift from God, and it is not dependent on our circumstances. Nehemiah 8:10 reminds us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Even in difficult times, we can find joy in God’s presence and in His promises. This joy strengthens us and carries us through trials, giving us hope and resilience.

When we focus on the goodness of God, we find that joy begins to fill our hearts, no matter what we face.

Application:
Think about a time when you experienced joy despite difficult circumstances. Reflect on how the joy of the Lord can strengthen you today.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the gift of joy. Help me to find strength in Your joy, even when life is challenging. Let Your joy be my source of hope and resilience. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge:
Find something to rejoice in today, no matter your circumstances, and give thanks to God for His goodness.
