The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
— Psalm 23:1 (ESV)
Reflection:
Psalm 23:1 paints a beautiful picture of God as our shepherd, guiding and providing for us. In His care, we lack nothing because He meets all our needs. When life feels overwhelming, this verse reminds us of the peace and security we find in trusting God’s leadership.
Shepherds protect, guide, and provide for their sheep, and God does the same for us. He knows what we need, and we can rest in His provision.
Application:
Reflect on an area of your life where you feel lacking. Ask God to shepherd you through it, trusting that He will provide.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my shepherd. Help me to trust in Your provision and care, knowing that I will lack nothing in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge:
Spend time reflecting on how God has been your shepherd in the past. Thank Him for His guidance and provision.
