Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
— Ephesians 5:1-2 (ESV)

Reflection:
Walking in love is the hallmark of a life that imitates Christ. Ephesians 5:1-2 reminds us that Christ’s love for us was sacrificial and self-giving. As His followers, we are called to love others in the same way.

This kind of love is not always easy, especially when others may not be loving in return. However, when we choose to walk in love, we reflect Christ to the world around us.

Application:
Is there someone in your life who needs to experience the love of Christ through you? Make an intentional effort today to show love in your words and actions, even if it requires sacrifice.

Prayer:
Lord, help me to walk in love just as You have loved me. May my life be a reflection of Your sacrificial love to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge:
Find a way to show love to someone today, especially if it requires going beyond your comfort zone.
