Come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
— Psalm 95:6 (ESV)

Reflection: Worship is more than just an activity; it’s a posture of the heart. Psalm 95:6 invites us to come before the Lord with humility, to worship and bow down, recognizing Him as our Creator and King. True worship is about acknowledging God’s greatness and surrendering our lives to Him in reverence and adoration.

As we gather for worship today, let’s come with hearts that are fully focused on God, ready to give Him the honor and praise He deserves. Let’s bow before Him, not just with our bodies but with our hearts, offering ourselves as living sacrifices in response to His love.

Application: Prepare your heart for worship by spending a few moments in quiet reflection before the service. Consider God’s greatness and His love for you, and let your worship be an expression of your gratitude and reverence.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come before You in worship, bowing down in reverence and adoration. Thank You for being my Creator and King. As I worship You today, may my heart be fully surrendered to You, and may my life be an offering of praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge: Take time after the service to reflect on the worship experience. How can you carry the spirit of worship into the rest of your week?
