Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
— Philippians 4:6 (ESV)

Reflection:
Prayer is a powerful tool that connects us with God. Philippians 4:6 reminds us that we don’t need to be anxious because we can bring all our needs and worries to God in prayer. He listens and responds, offering peace in exchange for our burdens.

Often, we hold onto our anxieties instead of laying them at God’s feet. But when we pray with a heart of thanksgiving, we experience the peace that only He can give.

Application:
Is there something causing you anxiety? Take a moment to bring it to God in prayer, trusting that He will provide peace.

Prayer:
Father, thank You that I can come to You in prayer. Help me to release my anxieties and trust You with my needs, knowing that You care for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge:
Pray about a specific concern today, then release it to God, trusting Him with the outcome.
